Please review these terms before using the Coachline Hockey platform
Effective Date: February 24, 2026
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Coachline Hockey platform and mobile application (the “App”), operated by Coachline Hockey LLC (“Coachline,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Player” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Player Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
Coachline provides a platform that connects hockey players with independent hockey coaches for the purpose of scheduling, booking, and conducting coaching sessions. Coachline serves solely as a marketplace facilitator and is not a provider of coaching services.
Players acknowledge and agree to the following communication restrictions:
All coaching session bookings must be made exclusively through the App. Players agree to pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of booking. Coachline reserves the right to modify pricing and fee structures at any time with reasonable notice.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Hockey is an inherently physical and dangerous sport. By using the App and participating in any coaching session booked through the App, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with hockey training and coaching, including but not limited to bodily injury, concussion, broken bones, sprains, strains, bruises, lacerations, dental injuries, spinal injuries, paralysis, and death.
You acknowledge that coaching sessions may involve physical activity including skating, stick handling, shooting, checking drills, and other hockey-related exercises that carry inherent risks of injury.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue Coachline Hockey LLC, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, disability, or death sustained by you during, arising from, or in any way connected to a coaching session booked through the App.
This release and waiver of liability applies regardless of whether such injury, illness, damage, disability, or death is caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your participation in any coaching session.
Coaches on the Coachline platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Coachline Hockey LLC. Coachline does not supervise, direct, or control the coaching methods, techniques, or instruction provided by Coaches. Coachline makes no representations or warranties regarding the qualifications, certifications, experience, or competence of any Coach.
You represent and warrant that you are in adequate physical condition to participate in hockey coaching sessions and have no medical condition that would make such participation dangerous. You agree to consult with a physician before engaging in any coaching session if you have any concerns about your physical fitness. If you are booking sessions for a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of such minor and accept these Terms on their behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update such information as necessary. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
In addition to the communication restrictions in Section 3, Players shall not:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Coachline Hockey LLC be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App or participation in any coaching session, regardless of the theory of liability. Coachline's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Coachline in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to such liability.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the state in which Coachline Hockey LLC is organized. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses. YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Coachline Hockey LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Coachline reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App and will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the App following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coachline Hockey LLC with respect to your use of the App as a Player and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
